PiCoGuide v.1.00 Beta Release Notes

• This software was designed for 800x600 resolution. It will not scale well to other resolutions.
• This beta has been tested successfully on Windows XP and ME, however I did experience some difficulty on some win9x/me installations. Your milage may vary.
• Extract the zip file to a folder on your c:\ drive, it will not fuction properly if you extract to your desktop.
• There are two executables in the zip file. Picoguide.exe is the general version of the software. PicoguideSS.exe adds a Showshifter specific function of changing the channel map to reflect what's currently on. Use at your own risk.
• Although PiCoGuideSS.exe will re-write the channel map every half hour, Showshifter will only refresh this data when it starts up.
• PicoguideSS.exe requires that Showshifter is installed in the default directory of your c:\ drive.
• The XMLTV program will run in a DOS window. The first time it runs, you will need to input your zip code, cable provider as well as the channels you would like included.
• To speed up the download of XMLTV data, we suggest you limit the number of channels by choosing only your favorite channels.
• This beta is limited to viewing one day of data.
• This beta will record to a PC-PVR using the TVPI TitanTV command.
